Well, Miami is taken care of. Not a bad place, but too much construction by the beaches right now, and the beaches aren't that big. I prefer the west coast. The conferences all went well, the clients were all impressed with our work. Jeff, Cindy and Pierre were all there too and it was a really good time considering it was a business trip. It's amazing how laugh-out-loud funny everyone is at 2 AM!
I'm not sure how Stephanie got by, I think she hung out with our best friends up the street (the Robins). Taking care of kids is soooo much work, even ddealing with all three for just a couple days in a row sounds overwhelming. If only kids lined up their "I'll be good" times then maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

Grandma Christie (with help from Grandpa Creon and Aunt Jessica) has been a life saver this week. I tried to take the whole week off to help with the new baby transition, but we had a few projects going on that couldn't wait that long. Our friends have been great too, bringing over meals almost every night. I've been impressed with how the big sisters have reacted too. Laura has been just superb, constantly washing her hands so she can touch Katelyn. Nikki has had a tougher time (being sick doesn't help) but hasn't shown many signs of jealousy...she did drop a container of baby wipes on Katie's head and took some skin off, but I'm sure it was quite accidental. Speaking of Nikki, she is starting to mimic words more and her new favorite phrase is "Oh man" whenever she plays with her toy "Swiper the Fox" of Dora fame or when any minor accident happens.

In the beginning...
...Matt caught the blogger wave. Today is as good as any to get it started as I am home on paternity leave with my wife Stephanie and newborn girl Katelyn.
I'm too lazy...I mean busy... to keep a real diary, so it is here that I will keep a travelogue of my life and a record of my oh-so-useful insights on just about anything.
